Best Time for Upper Dolpo Trek

The best time to embark on theUpper Dolpo Trek would ideally be between April to mid-November, a time which has better weather conditions favorable for trekking. During these months, the region experiences more stable conditions. It is warmer during the day and cooler during the night, hence offering more pleasant conditions for trekking. The trails are more accessible, and the scenery is at its vibrant best, therefore offering clear views of the stunning Himalayan landscapes and pure beauty of the Dolpo region.

On the other hand, the period from December to February is not good for trekking in Upper Dolpo because of heavy snowfall and very cold temperatures, which make the trails unsafe and difficult to traverse.
