Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m.)

Travelers will arrive at Kathmandu airport; our representative will welcome you and drive you to the hotel in Thamel. You will be transferred to a comfortable and boutique 3-star standard hotel. Day 02

Flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar (415 m.) and Drive to Num (1,560 m.)

Wake up early in the morning and refresh yourself. You will have your morning breakfast in the hotel, and we will transfer to the airport to fly to Tumlingtar. We will fly to Tumlingtar; it will take around 35 to 45 minutes to reach. You will fly over the beautiful Himalayas, exploring the amazing landscapes and gorgeous scenery. From Tumlingtar, we will drive to Num village; it will take 4 to 5 hours, depending on the road conditions and weather. However, you will have your breakfast and get ready for the trek back to the Yangri Kharka. The Makalu Base Camp to Yangri Kharka is downhill, and some are level trekking. The trekking distance will be 14 to 17 km, and it will take around 6 to 8 hours to trek. Yangri Kharka is about 3,560 meters above sea level. The trail descends through alpine meadows, glacier valleys, and beautiful moraine fields. You will descend further and pass by Langmale Kharka and Themathang Kharka. Day 13

Yangri Kharka to Khongma Danda (3,553 m.)

The Yangri Kharka to Khongma Danda trek is a longer trail and a demanding segment of the Makalu base camp trek. The trail for today is uphill and downhill with rhododendrons and lush forest. You will pass by Themathang and Dobato; there will be mossy forests and snow patches. The altitude of Khongma Danda is 3,553 meters above sea level. However, the trek from Yangri Kharka to Khongma Danda will take around 7 to 8 hours. Once you reach Khongma Danda, you will transfer to the hotel and have tea or coffee, then rest for some time. You will be exploring the beautiful surroundings and have an evening dinner and unwind for the overnight after the long trek.

Day 14

Khongma to Seduwa (1,500 m.)

From Khongma to Seduwa, it will take around 6 to 7 hours to reach. The trail is around 14 to 16 kilometers. The altitude of Seduwa is approximately 1500 m, which means you will have an elevation loss of around 2,000 meters. Passing through beautiful valleys, small glacier rivers, and unique landscapes makes your trekking enthusiastic and romantic. You will be arriving in Seduwa, a small settlement where you will have your meal and rest overnight.

Day 15

Seduwa to Num and drive to Tumlingtar (415 m.)

Seduwa to Num is the final leg for the Makalu Base Camp trek; you will have 3 to 4 hours of downhill trekking to reach the beautiful Num village. You will cross the beautiful Arun River valley and a unique terrace field. The Num village is about 1500 meters above sea level. You will have lunch in Num and jeep drive to the Tumlingtar, which will take 4 to 5 hours, depending on the weather and road conditions. From Num to Tumlingtar, it is about 40 kilometers. Once you reach Tumlingtar, you will be transferred to the hotel and rest overnight after dinner.

Day 16

Tumlingtar to Kathmandu (1,400 m.)

Wake up early in the morning and have your breakfast in the hotel. We will go to the airport, and we will take an aircraft to fly to Kathmandu. However, from Tumlingtar to Kathmandu, it will take around 35 to 45 minutes to reach by flight. You will have beautiful, serene Himalayan views during the flight. Kathmandu Sightseeing and Farewell

You will have your morning breakfast in the hotel and get ready for the sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Valley. Our representative will be there at the hotel around 7:30 am, and we will start our sightseeing tour journey at 8 am in the morning. We will start our tour from the beautiful Boudhanath stupa. The Boudhanath is one of the largest and most ancient Buddhist monasteries in Kathmandu. We can go to the largest Hindu temple, Pashupati Nath Temple; it has an ancient history. The Pashupatinath Temple was built in 400 CE, and it has a history older than 400 CE. From Pashupathi Nath, you will move to beautiful Patan Durbar Square, which is an ancient king's palace; it looks gorgeous. Have your lunch in the local restaurant in town, and we will move to the ancient Shambhunath Temple and explore the panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the temple itself.

However, travelers will drive to the beautiful ancient place, Kathmandu Durbar Square. The Kathmandu Durbar Square is known as an ancient world heritage site, and you can explore the gorgeous Durbar, ancient arts, architecture, and the museum.
