Setting out from Ghandruk, we embarked on the trek toward Khopra Danda, since it’s our first destination on the trail. Along the way, you would encounter friendly villagers going about their daily lives. And their warm smiles and hospitality added to the charm of the journey. The hilltop offered uninterrupted views of the Himalayas, with peaks such as Machapuchare, Annapurna, and Hiunchuli dominating the skyline. We hiked to nearby viewpoints, watched the sunrise over the mountains, and reveled in the tranquility of the surroundings. As the day drew to a close, we gathered around a bonfire, sharing stories and laughter under the starlit sky—a moment of pure bliss.

However, the highest point of the Khopra Danda Trek is the summit of Khorpa Danda itself.
