A thrilling journey of Mardi Himal Trek right through the middle of the Annapurna region, starting with a beautiful drive or flight of 30 mins to Pokhara at 860m, where upon arrival one will be transferred to the hotel. The next morning is spent trekking from Dhampus at 1,530 meters to Deurali at 2,050 meters after driving. Here, you will hike over emerald landscapes with glittering verdure down to the quiet Forest Camp. It is a silent stop between tall trees and wildlife.

Next day we will hike from Forest Camp to Badal Danda, a camp famous for its stunning views of surrounding peaks. Mardi Himal Trekking Permits

Like other trekking in the Annapurna Region, trekkers must obtain permits before starting their exciting Mardi Himal Trek. The latest Mardi Himal Trek lies in the Annapurna Conservation Area. So we need to obtain Annapurna Conservation Area Project Permits ( ACAP Permits). And there is another important permit that we need to obtain is (the TIMS Permit a Tourist Information Management System Permit. Basically, we need to obtain 2 types of permits for Mardi Himal Trek i.e. (ACAP Permit and TIMS Permit).

In total Mardi Himal Trek permit costs NRP 5,000 in total (approx. $50) for most of the trekkers except trekkers from SAARC nations. For the ACAP permit, it costs NPR 3000 (approx. $26) and for TIMS Permit it costs NRP 2000 (approx. $20).

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, we have a representative waiting to take you to the hotel. Take an early check-in and then take some rest so that you can overcome your jet lag. In case you are endowed with extra energy after the entire travel, just take a relaxed walk around Thamel, a street filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Today you will have a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley after a delicious breakfast. Today we will visit different UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the city of Kathmandu. We will start our day tour from Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). The view of the city and hills is good from there. Then we will have a visit to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal, and follow a guide for Buddhists. Continue, to Pashupatinath Temple, a religious shrine depicted as one of the holiest shrines for the Hindus residing on the bank of the River Bagmati, and look at some of the cultural performances (Aarti). Lastly, go shopping along the interesting historic Durbar Square which is well known for its great architecture and fine temples. In the morning after breakfast, you will be ready for the trip via road to Pokhara. There is an option to go to Pokhara by flight also. Trek from forest camp to Badal Danda takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Starting after having a healthy meal in the morning at the forest camp.
