Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m.)

You will arrive in Kathmandu; our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest sometime in the hotel with tea or coffee; we will have a team meeting and a trip briefing. Explore the local market, buy trekking gear, and prepare for backpacking. We will have an evening dinner and overnight unwind in the hotel. Have a good preparation and mountain journey for the next day.

Day 02

Fly from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi (195 m.) and Drive to Martadi (2,030 m.)

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast in the hotel; you will drive to the airport. From Kathmandu airport, you will have a short flight to Dhangadhi, which is about a 45-minute journey. The air distance is about 485 kilometers from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi. The altitude of Dhangadhi is approximately 180 meters. You will have a jeep drive to Martadi Bazar from Dhangadhi via Dadeldhura. The drive from Dhangadhi to Dadeldhura takes about 5 hours, which is about 145 kilometers. You will continue driving to Martadi towards the Bajura district. Dadeldhura to Martadi is about 150 kilometers, which is about 5 to 6 hours' distance. Hence, Dhangadhi to Martadi is approximately 295 kilometers, and it will take 8 to 9 hours to drive.

However, trekkers can have an overnight stay at Dadeldhura (1,900 m.) but we have made the itinerary for Martadi Bazaar. During the journey, you will have scenic mountain views, streams, traditional villages, and beautiful landscapes. Overnight stay at Martadi Bazaar and unwind in the lodge or teahouse.

Day 03

Martadi to Jadanga Drive (2,550 m.)

Today you will have breakfast in Martadi and get ready for an off-road journey to Jadanga. Martadi to Jadanga is about 50 to 55 kilometers, which will take approximately 5 to 6 hours to drive. Due to the off-road drive and remote mountain trail, it will take a full-day itinerary. After you have breakfast in the hotel, start driving to Jadanga. During the drive, you will pass by scenic mountain landscapes, beautiful villages, and high-altitude rice fields. The altitude of Jadanga is about 2,550 meters above sea level. On the arrival of Jadanga, you will have a lodge or homestay for overnight rest.

Trek from Jadanga to Triveni (3,865 m.)

You will wake up in the morning, have your breakfast, and get ready to trek to Triveni. Today you will start your first day of the trek from Jadanga to Triveni pastureland. The altitude of Triveni is about 3,865 meters above sea level, and it will take 6 to 7 hours to trek. During the trek, you will explore pine and rhododendron forests, beautiful carpets of grassland and wildflowers, pastureland, and varieties of wildlife. Surrounded by the snowcapped mountains and lush greenery, your trek will be beautiful. On the arrival of Triveni, you will be transferred to the camp or teahouse. You will have a delicious local meal, explore the beautiful surroundings, and unwind overnight in the wonderful nature’s hub of Triveni.

Day 05

Acclimatization in Triveni (3,865 m.)

Trekkers will wake up in the morning, have their breakfast, and get ready to explore the surroundings of nearby hills. After breakfast, you will hike uphill to the nearby ridges in Triveni. Make sure to carry plenty of drinking water and hike together with your guide. Trekkers can have 2 to 3 hours of hiking and can experience the beautiful surroundings. Varieties of wildlife, including birds, butterflies, wonderful pastureland, and wildflowers, in Triveni. You will get back to the hotel and then have some time to rest with hot tea or coffee. In the evening, have your delicious dinner and overnight stay, and unwind in the beautiful Himalayan camp in Triveni.

Day 06

Triveni to Badimalika Temple (4,220 m.)

Trekkers will trek to the Badimalika temple today. You will have an early breakfast in the Triveni and start the hike to Badimalik. a. The Triveni to Badimalika trek will take about 4 to 5 hours. During the Badimalika trek, you will have wonderful scenic natural surroundings, snow-capped mountains, and a variety of wildlife. Trekkers will have amazing views of Mt. Api and Saipal, lush mountains, and wonderful pastureland during the Badimalika trek. On the arrival of Badimalika, you will have worship of Mata Badimalika, who is the goddess of Bhagabathi. You will have the option to further hike to Dhawalpur Lake, but we have an itinerary to stay at Badimalika Temple. You will be staying in the camp in Badimalika; there will be a small barn or a tent house. The altitude of Badimalika Temple is about 4,220 meters above sea level. In the evening, witness the most scenic sunset from the Badimalika and the beautiful surrounding views. Have your evening dinner and overnight stay at a cozy tent camp.

Day 07

Badimalika to Dhawalpur Lake (2,560 m.)

Today, you wake up early in the morning and witness the beautiful sunrise in the Badimalika temple. You will have a pilgrimage trip to Badimalika Temple, which has the belief that cleaning the sins brings peace in life and fulfills the wishes of the god Bhagabati. Travelers will have their breakfast and start the trek to Dhawalpur Lake. You will have a gradually descending trek to Dhawalpur Lake. During the trek today, you will have scenic views of alpine land, beautiful pastureland, and surrounding mountains, including Api and Saipal. Trekking to Dhawalpur Lake from Badimalika will take around 5 to 6 hours, which is about 9 to 10 kilometers. The altitude of Dhawalpur Lake is about 2,560 meters above sea level. On arrival in Dhawalpur, you will transfer to a local teahouse or camp. Have tea or coffee and take a rest sometimes. Overnight stay to unwind after dinner.

Day 08

Dhawalpur Lake to Lamagadh (2,190 m.)

You will have breakfast in the camp and get ready for the trek to Lamagadh. During the trek, you will pass by traditional villages, surrounding hills, and scenic, lush forests. You will explore the beautiful Himalayan pastures and the amazing Badimalika pilgrimage trail and experience the rural culture in Lamagadh, etc. The Lamagadh is at an altitude of approximately 2,190 meters. Trekking from Dhawalpur Lake to Lamagadh will take around 6 hours. On arrival at Lamagadh, you will be transferred to the homestay or camp. Relax with hot tea or coffee and explore the beautiful surroundings of remote landscapes. In the evening, have your delicious dinner and overnight stay and relax.

Lamagadh to Silgadhi (1,370 m.)

Today is the final day of the pilgrim Badimalika Temple trek in the remote Bajura district of Nepal. You will wake up early in the morning and enjoy the wonderful morning vibes, which give you vibrant energy. You will have breakfast in Lamagadh and then get ready to trek to Silgadhi. Trekkers will have a long scenic descent to Silgadhi from Lamagadh, which has remote trekking trails. You will be exploring the beautiful, lush forest with pine trees, rhododendron forests, oak, and other mountain forests. The altitude of Silgadhi is approximately 1,370 meters, and it is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Trekking from Lamagadh to Silgadhi will take approximately 5 to 6 hours, and you will have moderate difficulty descending. On the arrival of Silgadhi, you will be transferred to a local lodge or teahouse. In the evening, you will have your dinner and overnight stay and unwind in the lodge.

Drive from Silgadhi to Dhangadhi (195 m.)

Today you will have a scenic drive to Dhangadhi, passing by beautiful villages, settlements, and local markets. You will have breakfast in Silgadhi and start an early morning jeep drive to Dhangadhi. You will be passing the beautiful mountain ridges, the Tarai plains, and beautiful rice fields. The distance from Silgadhi to Dhangadhi is about 180 kilometers. Driving from Silgadhi to Dhangadhi will take approximately 8 to 9 hours, depending on road conditions, traffic, and weather. The drive will pass by Dadeldhura, where you will have a lunch stop. Dhangadhi is a beautiful city in the Sudurpaschim province of Nepal. You will be arriving in the late afternoon and then transferring to the comfortable lodge or hotel in Dhangadhi. Explore the beautiful city and the surrounding market in Dhangadhi. In the evening, have your dinner and stay relaxed in the hotel room.

Fly to Kathmandu and sightseeing Kathmandu Valley (1,400 m.)

Wake up in the morning, get refreshed, have your breakfast, and then get ready to fly to Kathmandu. We will transfer you to the Dhandgadhi airport and arrange the flight ticket from Dhandgadhi to Kathmandu. Generally, the local flight in Nepal will be early in the morning due to weather conditions. Flying from Dhandaghi to Kathmandu will take around 45 minutes to 50 minutes. You will enjoy the short and scenic flight to Kathmandu, with the wonderful exploration of Himalayan views, mountains, and beautiful ridges. On arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer you to a comfortable hotel, where you can relax. Check into the hotel, have some rest time, and then have lunch. You will have Kathmandu Valley sightseeing in the midday.

Travelers will be exploring the Boudha Nath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhu Nath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Get back to the hotel and do some shopping for souvenirs. You will have breakfast and get ready for departure. Have bag packing and hotel checkout, and make sure to include all your belongings, such as personal documents, souvenirs, and all your Nepal memories. We will drive to the airport, which will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Our team will do a final farewell and take some pictures.
