The starting point, Gorak Shep, is around an altitude of 5,164 meters, and Kala Patthar is about 5,545 meters above sea level. The trek to Kala Patthar will take 3 to 4 hours for a round trip. And from Gorak Shep to Pheriche, it will take around 5 hours to reach. The most demanding Kala Patthar peak of the Everest base camp trek is beautiful to visit. The trek to Kala Patthar and back to Gorak Shep will be around 4 kilometers for the round trip. You will have spectacular and panoramic views of Mt. The trekking distance from Gorak Shep to Pheriche is about 10 to 12 kilometers, and it will take 5 to 6 hours. The elevation of Pheriche is 4,280 meters, where you will stay overnight in a teahouse. Pheriche is at a lower altitude; you can have a good rest after climbing the most demanding Kala Patthar peak. Once you arrive in Pheriche around 3 to 4 pm, you have hot tea and rest for some time. Explore around Pheriche and have your dinner in the evening, and overnight, unwind in the teahouse at Pheriche.

Today, you will have a long journey on the Everest trek; you will descend to Namche Bazaar from Pheriche. You will pass by Tengboche and Pangboche, with amazing views of the Everest region. The beautiful terrain and alpine meadows make you go at a slower pace and give you joy.
